Deadlines On Demand

DOD allows you to change the date of any of your deadlines.  For example, if a trial date changes, go to My Calendar or My Transactions on My DOD and select the appropriate event.  You will be given the opportunity to change the date, and DOD can regenerate all or some of the related deadlines in accordance with the appropriate court rules and holidays.  As always, you can click the Help link in the upper right corner for detailed information about the page you are viewing.

You can choose which of the related deadlines you wish to “lock” (such as discovery dates) and those deadlines will not move.  You will be charged a small research fee that is prorated and based only on the number of deadlines that you move.  Please note that you will not receive nofications for deadlines which are not moved with the trigger date (such as discovery deadlines that are not moved with the trial date), if they are affected by court rules, since these dates have probably been frozen by the court and not subject to adjustment.
