Outlook® - Keeping a specific date calculation from synchronizing with my Outlook calendar

We will refer to those deadlines as Informational Deadlines.  There are two suggested methods to create Informational Deadlines (“IDs”).  Based on the fact that CLOSED cases do not appear on DOD’s My Calendar displays and are not included in DOD’s Outlook Sync processing:

1. Create a generic Case Reference the first time you run a Date Calculation for IDs.  Use a Case Reference such as Informational Deadlines or just Closed Case so you can easily identify it.  Now go into My Cases and Close that matter.  Each time you wish to run a Date Calculation for IDs, simply assign it to that matter.

2. Create a Case Reference that is specific to the matter for which you want the IDs.  For example, IDs for Jones v. Smith might be saved under Case Reference Jones v. Smith - IDs.
