Pricing Information
Each Deadline Calculation (“search”) is priced according to a number of factors, including:
1. The amount of research that was necessary for the search. This is often reflected in the number of deadlines generated.
2. The complexity of the rules invoked, which is an indication of the amount of work that is necessary to keep the rules up to date.
3. An analysis of court holidays and resolution of conflicts at local and federal levels. Holiday observances vary from county to county even in the same state.
4. Specialty sets, such as Bankruptcy rules, are usually priced higher than Civil Litigation rules.
5. The number of authorities, sources and rule sets used in the search hierarchy. Often, more than a half dozen legal sources are considered in a single search.
Pricing currently ranges from $3 to $65 with an average price of $27.

OPTIONAL DOD MEMBERSHIP
Note: You are not required to be a DOD member to use this site. Membership is completely optional (although we have no idea why anyone who uses this site would not sign up as a member). Membership is on a month-to-month basis and can be canceled at any time.
